Job Description

As System Engineer, you sit between product strategy and hands-on development. You take the priorities set by the Product Lead and turn them into a coherent system architecture and detailed technical requirements, making sure hardware, software, and RF components work together as one system. You develop and optimize new features, design testing and diagnostic tools, and analyze system performance data to continuously improve reliability.

Key Responsibilities

Architecture & Design

  • Translate product requirements into system architecture and detailed technical requirements for the next generation of our products.
  • Make sure hardware, software, and RF components integrate seamlessly.
  • Develop and optimize new system features and capabilities.

Verification & Analysis

  • Design test scripts and diagnostic tools to prevent regressions.
  • Analyze system performance data (e.g. detection accuracy, false alarms) to drive improvements.
  • Produce and maintain technical specifications and design documentation.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, RF Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience designing or integrating complex electronic or RF systems.
  • Strong analytical skills and comfort working with system performance data.
  • Able to produce clear technical documentation and specifications.
  • Excellent command of English, both spoken and written.
  • Preferred: experience with radar, RF, or electronic warfare systems; experience in defense or aerospace; familiarity with signal processing or embedded systems.

Employment Type

This role starts with a one-year contract, with the intention to extend.

We Offer

We work in an ambitious, fast-growing team where everyone’s contribution counts and there’s real room for your own initiative. On top of that, we offer:

  • A travel allowance.
  • A company phone and laptop.
  • An attractive pension scheme.
  • Direct ownership of the architecture behind MAGUS’ next generation.
  • Work on high-impact, real-world defense technology.

As part of the selection process, a pre-employment screening will be conducted.
